Reaction Innovation's Twerk is a trailer lure available in two sizes - 3" and 4" (7.5 and 10 cm). The small main part of the case looks hollow, but it is not. This section is made of a resilient and strong plastic that is very strong on the hook. In fact, it serves precisely for attaching the bait, and almost does not participate in the game. The front part is complemented by two very large, simply oversized blades, which are the playing tail of the lure. They have ribs along the surface for extra vibration and movement when you play with the lure near the bottom.
Reference: Twerk (twerk), according to information from Wikipedia, is a dance in the movements of which the work of the buttocks and hips is actively used. Performed in a sexually provocative manner. How ... A kind of sexy horseman)))
There are three ways to equip Twerk. Standard - on the hook of the jig head, threading it through the entire body of the bait like a regular twister. As a "trailer" - hooking the bait on the hook when the bait is moving freely on it. And with the help of a movable connection of the load with the offset, equipped with a silicone skirt and protection against hooking.
The game Reaction Innovations Twerk in the water is, as you would expect, very original. It oscillates elegantly and smoothly as it moves up and down when you make a standard "step". Or actively “slaps with flippers”, with sharp jerks. During testing, experts noted that pike perch prefers to attack the blades. When jerking, they actively play and attract attention to themselves, and when the bait falls on the second phase of the step, they almost stop vibrating and it is at this moment that the zander attacks them.
Twerk comes in two sizes, each presented in a resealable Reaction Innovations plastic bag. Inside the package there is no separate figured packaging that helps the baits keep their shape, but they are very carefully and tightly packed with the head down and the blades up, which retains their original shape without additional fixation.
The Innovations Twerk is priced right when compared to top tier soft plastic lures. Although you need to understand that you will have to buy it more often than, for example, a regular vibrotail, since the same pike perch tries to aggressively bite off large blades and the bait can quickly fail. In Russia, it is not yet on sale and you can only buy it in foreign online stores, such as EBAY, where it now has a price of $ 12 for a set of 2 pieces. But soon she will appear to us and let's hope that Twerk will be good at catching pike and zander.
Conclusion. Reaction Innovations Twerk has the main plus - an unusual game that immediately arouses interest even in an experienced fastidious large predator. With its compact body, the lure has very large blades that can play actively or vice versa very smoothly, depending on the style of play. That is, Twerk is universal in its application. A large number of colors and colorings is also a definite plus. Two sizes are enough, as they are the most popular when catching pike and zander. And the disadvantages include the fact that the bait has no flavor. As a result, we can say that the Reaction Innovations Twerk is worthy of the attention of both our anglers and our Russian predator. We will try…
